About us

Research in the lab covers a broad spectrum of multimedia signal processing and analysis. In recent years, researchers in the lab have pioneered the development of non-linear image processing algorithms, image texture analysis, automated image segmentation, tools for content based search and indexing of image databases , and new methods for data hiding in images and video. The group has actively contributed to the on-going MPEG-7 standardization.
